Lysto uses a simple, credit-based pricing system designed to keep PC game playtesting transparent and predictable.
One playtester session equals one credit for standard playtester requirements. These include the number of players, region, age range, gamer profile, and genres played, which are sufficient for most playtesting studies.
If your study requires additional targeting requirements, the cost is 1.5 credits per playtester session.
Credit pricing varies depending on how many credits you purchase. There are no hidden fees or additional costs beyond the credits used for your playtest.
For the most up-to-date pricing details, please get in touch with your Games Partnership Manager.
Please Note: A playtester session means one playtester playing your game once for a defined session duration.
The number of players you need for a PC playtest depends on what you are trying to learn.
For usability, onboarding, and clarity testing, 5–10 playtesters on average may be enough to uncover most major issues. These tests help identify confusion, friction points, and early drop-offs.
For behavioural validation, feature evaluation, or progression tuning, 10–20 playtesters provide stronger confidence by revealing consistent patterns across sessions.
You can also consult with our Expert User Researchers, who can help determine the right sample size based on your playtest goals, ensuring you gather meaningful insights without over-testing.
